This week is all about my favorite fall pieces for this year
First up, let’s talk about shoes! I love shoes. If you asked my fiancé he would probably tell you I have a shoe problem, BUT a girl needs her options.
Boots:
Combat boots are so in style this fall. I just got a brand new pair of Dr. Martens Chelsea boots for my birthday and I am obsessed. Combat boots add an instant edge to any fall outfit.
Booties are of course always a great option for fall. My favorite booties are those that have something that makes them unique and you’ll probably find me with a pair that have a little western fashion flair.
Sneakers:
Alabama TikTok made me do it… Golden Goose sneakers are all the rage. Of course I'm on a student budget, so I got a dupe pair from SHUSHOP. I have seen dupes for Golden Goose in Target, on Amazon, and virtually everywhere.

If you know me personally, you know I am OBSESSED with my vintage Reebok shoes. I can't get enough and they go with anything from leggings to mom jeans.

Mules:
Mules are perhaps my favorite shoe of fall. You will find me in these with most of my fall outfits. They go perfect with dress pants, a pretty fall dress, jeans, and more. I get all of my mules at Target because they have the cutest styles and colors.

Next up, pants. And boy am I LIVING for this season’s trends. I have always loved retro fashion and the fact that it is all coming back makes me one happy girl.
Flares:
I have denim flares, black flares, cheetah flares and the list goes on and on. Seriously, I can’t stop buying flare pants. I love to wear mine with a top or sweater tucked in and some booties.
Mom jeans:
Perhaps one of the greatest 90s trends is coming back around big time this year. Mom jeans have been trending for a while now but lately they are available in almost every store. I love to wear my mom jeans with Birkenstocks and a t- shirt on a warm day and Dr. Martens for a casual but trendy outfit. If I want to wear them to go out or dress them up, I'll throw on booties or a mule with an edgy sweater.
Tops, the way I switch up my outfits the most. I really have no rhyme or reason when picking out a top other than if it “speaks to me” I’ll tell you some of my favorite places to shop for these pieces.
Sweaters:
My favorite place in the world to get sweaters is, you guessed it, Target! They have everything from 90s sweater vests (which I have incorporated into my wardrobe this year) to classy pullovers and cardigans I can wear to work. There is really something for everyone and you can’t go wrong with starting here.
Vintage or Graphic tees:
I love a good band t-shirt or even a shirt with a snarky saying. I wear them under a cardigan or jean jacket, mostly. And girls, don’t be afraid to check out the men’s section when searching for your tees. I get a lot of my favorite ones from there. I also get a lot of my t- shirts for layering at Target, of course. Check out online and local boutiques when searching for the perfect layering pieces. A lot of people forget about shopping local but they have the best and most unique finds!
JEAN JACKET. Enough said. My favorite one is from Old Navy and I’ve linked it below.
I saved the best for last, accessories! A good accessory can take an outfit from drab to fab in an instant.
Earrings are always my favorite part of a look. My 2 favorite places to buy earrings are Francescas and Hobby Lobby!
I'm also really into gold necklaces this fall. I love the 90s chains that are coming back. I have several and most came from TJ Maxx. I just got the CUTEST one with my initial on Amazon linked below.
Hats and Headbands… need I say more. I like accessorizing from head to toe. The best way to find cute and different styles is Amazon. Type in “fall hats” and look through the cutest wide brim hats and beanies. Type in “knot headbands” and scroll until your heart's content!
I am by no means a fashion expert but it is something I am passionate about. I love to shop and experiment with new styles. I hope this blog post inspires you to go out and explore your fashion and live your best fall life! Until next time…
